And you only thought it was soda.

I don't know if you are like me but I like to search random things on the internet {sue me, okay :)} and what I fell on this morning, you would not believe. Get this, crazy random uses you can have for................ COCA COLA! Yes, my friends, I am not kidding you, there are so many crazy things you can do with Coca Cola. Now, I am a huge fan of Coke; I know soda is not very healthy but it's a thing I can't shake. I think it's embedded in my DNA, no joke.

In my home country {Djibouti, for all of you that are new to my blog. It's a small country in East Africa}, we have different tribes and one tribe in particular are called the Afars. They are known to love Coke; they drink it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I think I might have some Afar blood in me because I crave Coke all day every day but I don't drink it that often; I'll buy a 2L bottle once or twice a month. Where was I going with this? Oh, yeah, the many uses you can have for Coke. This is where I get all wikipedia on you guys and tell a little bit about the origins of Coca Cola. It's been rumored to be green at the beginning but no proof of that yet. Apparently, Coca Cola was originally made of coca leaves {the plant of cocaine} and cola nuts that grow in Africa; so yes at first, you could find 60mg of cocaine in each serving. It also contained alcohol and it was used for medecinal uses. But eventually, they took out the cocaine and the alcohol because it gave people headaches.

Did you know?

* That Coke can relieve a jelly bean sting. All you have to do is pour the soda over the sting.

* That if you have the hiccups, you can gargle a bit of Coke and your hiccups are gone.

* That if your baby has the colic, let the warm Coke go flat, pour in the baby's bottle and give it to him. It makes the tears and the colic go away.

* That to clean your burnt pots and pans effortlessly, you can boil some Coke in it.

* That you can antique your photos; take a photo you'd like to antique {make sure you have a second copy in case that you're like me, and you'll mess up}
and soak it in Coca Cola. Use a small pan and pour in about 1/2 inch of Coca Cola. Then put in the photo until it's covered with the cola. Just soak for a few minutes until you get the color that you want. Gently lift out the photo {careful not to touch the front with your fingers}. Then gently pat dry with a soft lintless material. Or, drip dry. Then finish drying with a hair dryer.

* If you have a too-dark dye job, you can fade out the color. Just take DIET coke and pour it on your hair; it should remove the dye considerably.

I have also heard that you can tan with it, get soft, silky hair, remove gum from hair and also get smooth skin. Who knew good ol' Coke could do this ? I sure didn't. Did you?

Being alone isn't all bad...or is it?

Being alone has never bothered me; I was born an only child. I grew up basically with my thoughts as a sibling and that was fine by me. I know that when I was younger, I was eager for a little brother or a little sister but at some point, I kinda gave up on the idea.

There is a part of me that has always secretely nurtured the thought of ending up alone and not alone, as in "I'm going to die without ever knowing love and having 77 cats named Roberto" but alone as being independent, being able to just up and leave if it suited my fancy and not have anybody to answer to. But then, there's a big part of me that screams for companionship and love and everything that comes along with it.

That part of me feels like since I've been alone all my life, I just really need someone to complete me. I want a loving husband with beautiful children with a quaint little home and a white picket fence. Is that too much to ask for? Yet is that going to be ever enough? Can a person want two different things at the same time?

One day, I went to grab lunch at a french terrace and all I felt were people's stares as they sat by me. At first, the waiter was wondering if I was meeting someone and when I assured him that A) no, I wasn't meeting anyone and NO, I was not a nut job, SERIOUSLY and B) Yes, I would prefer the table on the terrace, where EVERYBODY could see that I was alone.

Customers came 2 by 2, 3 by 3 and even in larges groups and as they sat by, they all had this weirdly fascination with me." Who was I? Why was I alone? Did I need someone to talk to? " and all I thought was, "Damn! Can't a girl just get some ceasar salad?" Did people really see me as a poor, loneseome girl who just needed the comfort of cucumbers and feta cheese because she had nobody else to talk to?

I felt like a spotlight was on me; like they thought I would just get up any second and say "You're on candid camera! I'm not eating alone; this was all just a big joke!". And it wasn't like I was transgressing any kind of laws. I was just- gasp- enjoying my salad and people watching.

Did I break THE cardinal rule of french dining, "NEVER EAT ALONE or you might be seen as desperate." ? What was the bad thing about eating alone, or sleeping alone, or going to the movies alone or shopping alone? Was it so bad to be wanting to just be alone?

I remember the first time I went to the movies by myself; it felt so liberating. Granted, I won't go to the movies by myself all the time but once in awhile, I like to think selfishly and just be by myself. I also remember telling my friends that I went to the movies alone and their reactions was out of proportion. It was as if I had told them that I had contracted the worst kind of disease. A few times a week, I like to take hour-long walks around my little town and I like to recharge my batteries like that; I come home feeling refreshed and with a clear mind. So was I nuts or were people just completely oblivious to the fact that being alone sometimes, feeds the soul?

The way I see it- eating solo is not desperate nor it is foolish. It's perfect actually. There is no awkward conversation as you try to work around your little ceasar salad or try to fill the silence with words; plus you can order however many desserts you want without getting the "WHERE THE HELL DOES SHE PUT ALL OF THIS?" kinda look. I like to think that I'm on a date with myself; I can sort out my thoughts and most importantly, I'm getting to know myself.

What do you guys think of dining alone or just being alone? Does it frighten you or on the contrary, does it do loads of good to you, your body, your mind and soul?

Random rant............................as always!

It is so weird how life can be very ironic. I was answering a question on 20SB yesterday about this awesomefuncool blogger Megan posting something very personal and how she lost followers because of that specific post. I had basically told her to just write for herself and not to let that become personal; that I would rather have 10 followers reading me than to have a bunch of people who just come across my blog and don't care about a word I say.

Then I come back to my dashboard and I had lost a subbie. Ironic, no? I mean, as much as I try to not let it get to me, it stings a little but hey, what can you do ? I can't win them all over with my wit and my stellar personnality.

*What? If I don't auto-compliment myself, who will?*

Then by browsing blogs and finding some really awesome ones, I had gained 4 new followers. So thank you ALL, new followers and old ones, for coming by and hopefully, you'll stick around. I can't promise that I'll be blogging every single day because sometimes I run out of inspiration but there is one promise I can make and keep:

"I'll always be true to myself and to this blog."

Now that has been said and done, how was your weekend lovelies? Mine was pretty relax; I spent most of my weekend watching the World Cup.

If they could all play like THAT, I'm sure a lot of us ladies would focus on the World Cup, no?

I have been watching all 3 games per day; it's become a little too much sometimes but I figure since this is my first World Cup that I get to witness from beginning to end, might as well do it full on! Isn't that what they say? "Go hard or go home?" I'm not sure if that really applies here but let's just pretend it does.

I did some housework this weekend. I love it when my place smells like Mr.Clean and Febreze and is SPOTLESS from ceiling to floor. I feel like I'm at peace or something. I also had a mani and a pedi. I put on a Black Onyx nail polish #26. I don't know if it's a real company or not, since I can't find any info on it online, but when I went to the farmer's market yesterday, I picked up for 50 cents. Now for 50 cents, that's a bargain. It ressembles Essie "Queen of Hearts".

I could show you but then again you'd run away from the horror of my cuticles and my blister so I'll just save you all from that and show this lovely picture instead.

Coming up next, another webisode of Cooking Dangerously. This time around, I'll be making my comfort to-go food whenever I have no time and have no energy; and this time, my friends, WITH PICTURES!

Ermmm.......Thank you, I guess.......*insert awkward silence*....But I'm gonna pass so....umm....Bye!

Whaddup?????????????????????? *Barney Stinton Style*

I hope y'all had an awesome weekend; I sure did. Well not really but let's just all pretend that I did, mmkay? Thanks.

What have I been up to, you wonder? {even if you don't, please go along with it...You will be greatly rewarded. I don't know how yet but I'll keep you updated on that.}

I have been having writer's blog (GET IT??? WRITER'S BLOG? LIKE "WRITER'S BLOCK"! HAHAHA! I CRACK MYSELF UP.) so I have been literally just staring at my computer screen for hours waiting for all the thoughts rambling on in my head to just calm the eff down so I could write something plausible but alas, all I could muster writing was utter crap and I can't give you guys utter crap; y'all deserve more. I have so many drafts right now in my folders, it's crazy insane.

Did it ever happen to you when you start writing something, it totally makes sense in your head and the second you start proof-reading your stuff, it starts falling apart like Lindsay Lohan? Yeah? Welcome to the club.

I've also caught myself daydreaming alot lately, about beach vacations and just digging my feet through white sand and dipping my toes in warm cool water; I miss going to the beach.

Whilst I can't go to the beach I decided to brush up on my cooking skills. I have been searching the world wide web for easy recipes; I must admit I was struggling with it all until a light shone down from heaven {not really} and I fell upon
Pionner Woman's website. "Wow", is all I can say. The food looked so delish and so easy to make.I've made some recipes over the past few days and so far, I've made :

Spicy Orange Garlic Shrimp

Fettucine Alfredo

Shrimp Risotto

Funnel Cakes

Mocha Silk Pie minus the Kahlua- Since I don't drink, I added cappucino. That is still in the fridge right now since I made it yesterday, so I'll be thinking of you all when I eat it tonight.

I also found a new love for cottage cheese; how have I been living and breathing for the past 22 years and not come across this little gem? I shall never know but "YUM" is all I can say and speaking of cottage cheese, I'm craving some right now. Excuse me while I go get some.

* Insert elevator music*

Okay, I'm back. Oh, you know what? the CRAZIEST thing happened to me yesterday. Let me situate you a little bit.

Location: Supermarket Parking Lot, Béthune, France
Actors: Yours truly, random 50-year-old man with his green jacked-up car.
Time: 14:20pm

Scene I

I was walking down the bridge from the train station and I was going to the supermarket to go pick up some shrimp (Can you tell I love seafood? ) and I get to the roundabout/traffic circle when I hear whistles. I look up and see this old man in his jacked-up car LITERALLY getting his head out of the car just to take a serious look at yours truly. I must admit I was looking mighty fine too so I mean, I get it :) {Can you say conceited much?}

Scene II

I nod it off and continue my walk across the roundabout/traffic circle and see the same man AGAIN coming around the roundabout/traffic circle, taking another look. I was like "Yeah, okay it's flattering but he better not come back a third time; then it'll go from flattering to freaky." Guess what? He came back a third time; at this point I reached the supermarket and I was walking across the parking lot.

Scene III

Dude has the balls, cojones, cahunas, whatever you wanna call them, to get out of his car and come up to me; at this point, I started fearing for my life. It didn't help that I watched "P2", the previous night, which ironically, is a thriller set in a parking lot and although it was broad daylight, I felt like he was about to put a chloroformed tissue on me and drag me out of that parking lot and I would never see all my loved ones ever again. Let's just say I have a vivid imagination. He starts complimenting me for the longest time and essentially on how I'm the most gorgeous woman he's ever seen and that if I give him the teeniest chance, albeit it be 1 in a trillion kinda chance, he would worship the ground I would walk on.

First of all, I am not used to people worshiping the ground I walk on and I don't know how confortable I would feel with that; I'm not also used to people openly hitting on me like that and I'm sure as hell not used to strangers saying that I'm the most gorgeous woman ever. Second of all, all I could think about while this random man is babbling on is: "Why do I keep attracting old creepsters? What is it about me that keep them coming at me, like honey on bees?". I need to figure that ish out, ASAP!

He then looked at me with puppy-dog eyes, trying to hit my soft spot; damn him!!! I am a sucker for puppy-dog eyes. When I'm put on the spot, I fumble A LOT and fumbled I did. This is what came out and I'm keeping it short with the "ermmms" and "umms":

"Errmmmmmmmmmmm...........................Thank you........................I guess............................But ummmmmmm............I'm gonna pass..................................................So......ermmmm............bye!!"

I cannot handle stressful situations like that and I felt so awkward that I took 2 showers. *Shudder* Just thinking about it makes my skin crawl.

In other news, I am trying to grow out my hair. I know it's not huge news but for me it is. It is HUMONGOUS. I have had short hair for about a decade of my life. I cut them for the first time when I was twelve and I've been keeping it short ever since. And it's not even because I like short hair.

You know when your hair is growing out, and it's not your short hairstyle but it's not chin length nor shoulder length either? It's like in an awkward phase where it's lifeless and mostly, not STYLISH at all. I hate that part of the growth so in order not to deal with it, I've always went back to the short hairstyle. But I've stuck it out for the past 6 months. My hair had a tendency to grow an inch every 3 months; but for the last six months, I haven't touched my hair except cutting 1/2 an inch just for my split ends and surprisingly, it grew about 4 to 5 inches.

{This is what it looked like in december; very buzzed at the back and Victoria Beckham bob-ish in the front}

{This is when it's curly; it's longer if straightened}

{I can't wait 'til the day it gets that long - via we heart it }

That's pretty much it for me, you guys! Wow I have rambled on today! Hope you have an awesome Wenesday! Live life, stay healthy, and God bless!

P.S: Thank you so much for taking the time to read my blog and leaving comments! They are truly appreciated and I even do a little happy dance whenever I get a comment or see the hits on my blog so thanks again for bringing many a-smiles in my life!

¡Hola! Hablo espanol.

Hello Everyone!!

I hope y'all had an excellent weekend as well as a kick ass start to this week. I spent a pretty relaxed weekend. I spent it mostly catching up on some of my ZZZs and watching movies. I have been known to be midly insomniac, sleeping at various hours of the day but this weekend was solely purposed to get back to a healthier sleeping habit. I'd like to say
"Mission Accomplished" but sadly, no; it was an epic fail. All I want right now is to crawl back under my covers and not emerge for about, let's say, a week or so. That's how exhausted I am. And this weather we've been having lately is not helping at all.

Although I was born and raised in one of the hottest countries in the world
{seriously I am not kidding; it's like freaking 40 degrees in the shade so imagine how hot it must be under the sun}, I still cannot get used to the warm rays of the sun, unless of course, there's a hot man, with his rock-hard abs, fanning me with a palm leaf. Only then, and only then, could me and the sun become actual best buds.

*What? Don't look at me like that. That is a legitimate fantasy, my friends. LEGITIMATE, I TELL YOU!*

France's weather was skyrocketting these past few days; it was like 30 degrees outside. I cannot stand the heat; I think I was made for the north Pole or something, seriously. The hot, thick, sticky
(is anybody else's mind in the gutter right now?) AIR has completely numbed me; literally boiling water for supper was like climbing mount Everest and not even getting to camp base 1. Thankfully today, it rained a little so the weather is in the low 20s and that's how I like it.

{This is so what I need to be doing instead of blogging.}

In other news, I started getting cracking on item numero veintiséis (26) on my bucket list which is "LEARN A FOREIGN LANGUAGE AND ACTUALLY USE IT". I currently speak only 3 languages, French, English and my maternal tongue which is Somalian. Although I, sometimes, brag about speaking Spanish since I took 5 years of Spanish through high school and college, I only remember the plain basics of it all, like counting to 30 and the colors.

I decided to sign up for online classes here and I'm learning everything from the beginning which is so cool. I wonder how I didn't find out about this website a long time ago. I figure since I live in France, and Spain isn't really that far, I could pop over there for a weekend or so, and really learn the dialect from the people who know it best a.k.a the spaniards. I'll let you know how well this goes.

{Doesn't this look heavenly? I wish I could die and go to heaven only to eat loads of this and not gain a single gram of fat; I am totally drooling over my keyboard right now; excuse me while I go get a napkin.}

I just wanted you to drool along with me; I am a huge fan of breakfast food for dinner and I am heavily considering making this for dinner tonight; I am tired of the spaghetti and meatballs that I have been having for the past 2 days.

And so I leave you with this little tidbit.

I will "talk" to y'all laterz alligatorz. Enjoy the rest of your day!!!!

MTV sucks!

I woke up in such a cranky mood this morning; I was like "Dude, do not mess with me or else!" to anybody that would cross my path. I think it's because it took me hours to fall asleep, literally. I went to bed at midnight and until 5:44 am, I was trying to tell myself to fall asleep. I tried couting sheeps; I tried listening to soft music. Then I tried reading a couple of chapters of "P.S I love you" {amazing book bee tee double-u} but ended up finishing the whole entire book. It wasn't long after that that I FINALLY fell asleep. I woke up tired and cranky around 10:30 so I only got about 5 hours of sleep. That's one thing people cannot mess with is my sleep. I am not pretty to be around when I am lacking "le sommeil".

I decided to catch up on Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill whilst trying, keyword being "trying", to salvage my butchered manicure. Let's get cracking on Gossip Girl; how amazing was the last episode? *Spoilers* Chuck sleeping with Little Humphrey? Damn that motherchucker Dan/Serena, is the third time a charm? Nate snitching on Dan and Serena to Vanessa. Georgina is sperminated by Dan? is Chuck dead? *Spoilers end*It was too much to handle. I cannot seriously wait for season 4, lawd have mercy. Tree Hill was good too; a little sappy at first but the ending had me LITERALLY on the edge of my bed, just gawking at the screen for about 5 minutes. I'm so glad CW decided to renew its contract for a new season; Tree Hill cannot just finish like the season finale just did . I need my Tree Hill fix; I don't know what I would do without it.

It is such a beautiful day, nonetheless that I didn't feel like staying in today so I took an hour-long power walk across town; it was liberating and free and I felt less on-edge. I came home and thought of catching up with the Hills on MTV which brings me to the title of my post. They won't allow Europeans to watch the Hills anymore on their site; I have been watching the Hills on MTV ever since I moved to France and it previously worked fine, but for the past week or so, nothing works therefore MTV SUCKS!!! I want to see some Speidi craziness; it's their last season, come on! I wanna see Speidi's crystallized home and Heidi's weird new face.

Anywhoodles, that was my day! Hope yours is going good and if not, there's always a new day tomorrow!!!

Cute? No hunny, I'm beautiful.

Cute. I'm sick and tired of the word "Cute". I mean, cute is way better than ugly, don't get me wrong. I have always been the good friend, you know the girl who guys hang out with but that nobody wants to really date and I've felt that way prominently because of my size. For a very long time, I've felt complexed about my body and how people saw me.If you didn't know, I am not super model size. I am not 5'10 and I do not have legs that could go on for days. I am short and curvy. All my life, all I've heard is "Oh, you're so cute but you could be beautiful if you were skinnier" or "Wow, that dress would look amazing if you lost at least 20 pounds". I'd always try to not let it get to me but there comes a time where even self-confidence cannot manage to drown out all the negativity.I've tried to harm my body countless times by not eating or drinking at all for days on end. It took me a very long time to realise that my size did not define me one bit; I could be the skinniest bitch around, if I didn't feel beautiful on the inside, then I was not truly beautiful. I realize now that as long as I'm healthy, I can be my own supermodel.

So a few nights ago, I couldn't sleep so I decided to watch some T.V and there was this documentary on the newest plus size model who was turning heads. Her name is Tara Lynn and she first graced the covers of W and Elle France. She is gorgeous and she's a size 48Eu/16Us/18Uk.

This gave me a lot of hope, considering the times we do live in where size 0 is plastered all over the covers of magazines. These magazines do not seem to realize that the average woman is a size 12 and it was so refreshing to see a real woman with real curves on her body, and not Photoshop-acquired ones, on the cover of a magazine. Maybe this will be a wake-up call for all these girls who strive so hard to look like their Photoshopped idols, sometimes detoriating their physical and mental health; maybe they should just realize that beauty comes in all different shapes and sizes. So the next time someone says
"Oh, you're so cute!", I'll be like, "Not trying to be conceited but cute? No, hunny, I'm beautiful."

Worst weekend ever!

So it's been a couple of days since I blogged; a lot of crap has happened since. My blog got hacked into; who does that seriously???Don't you have a life, hacker?? Uhh, pardon me. I was so pissed because they{whoever they is} started to change everything about my blog after all the hard work I've put into it. My mother's words are ringing up in my ears as we speak. "Learn to save; you might never know when you might lose something". Thanks Mama!!!! I had previously saved some of the posts I loved writing, the ones that were near and dear to me so I just put them all back up today so no, if you're wondering, I didn't have enough energy to write up 26 posts in one day. I would' ve had carpal tunnel by now. So I created this new blog; I think I might just prefer this one because I put twice as much hard work than the previous one. I am not web savvy but when it's been broken down, I think I can handle HTML language and how to go about it.

Other than little drama, I had a mellow weekend. Friday, I catched up on all my fave shows online such as OTH, Gossip Girl, 90210, The Hills and all that jazz. Since I have been living in France, Internet has become my lover and my friend. It's the only way I can keep up with my fave shows; I mean right now, I'm watching season 3 of Gossip Girl online and one of France's network just started playing season 2. It is a good reminder of what previously happened but I cannot stand hearing Queen B's voice in French; it sends shivers down my spine and not the good kind. I believe that shows or movies that were made in English should stay in English and vice versa; if you don't understand English, then try subtitles. I love subtitles; I watch my shows online with french subtitles; I don't need to but I love just being able to read and watch at the same time. It's like my brain is getting off or something when I do both. I remember ever since I was young, setting my tv to the hearing impaired setting so that subtitles would come up for everything, even commercials. I drove everyone crazy. That is why I love foreign films or shows. I love Bollywood for the subtitles; I love korean dramas for the subtitles.

Then the weekend, I got in a pretty huge fight with someone I know; it was pretty bad and I'm usually one to apologize even if I'm not the one who's wrong, but this time it just escalated to another level and I feel like I didn't deserve any of it at all. I am such a nice person but when you treat me with respect; if I feel like I'm being talked down to or I see that the other party is not even taking my feelings into consideration even after I said that such and such things might hurt me, I feel like that they don't earn my respect. For me, respect is a two-way street. I'm a firm believer in leaving the room if you're gonna say hurtful things to people; take a walk, focus on your breathing, do your grocery list in your head, have a rundown of the last episode of the Hills , I don't know but figure out something to do other than to say something spiteful. Just because you're angry or upset doesn't give you the right to go ahead and say whatever you want to say and after you've said such things, expect people to be nice to you and to joke around with you. It ain't happening, got it???

Sorry, I just had to vent because I know that person is most likely to see this and just in case my live message didn't come across as clear, I'm hoping this will. Okay, back to my weekend. So after that little debacle happened, I watched Julie and Julia for the 15th time; I didn't even know who Julia Child was until I saw this movie and I fell in luuuuuuuuurv with the movie; it's not even the story, it's the food. Poached eggs, artichokes with hollandaise sauce, boeuf bourguignon, oh my! My heart just pitter-pattered at the thought of all that delicious food, which brought me to this peculiar train of thoughts. I mean, I am currently living in Eastern France; it's not exactly Paris but it'll do for now. I have been so focusing in keeping my north american food traditions and trying so hard to figure out what could be yummy subtitutes for bagels, cream cheese, tex-mex cheese, nachos, enchiladas, lebanese shawarmas, you know things that remind me of home. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the french pattisserie such as almond croissants and pain au chocolats {with Carrie Bradshaw's voice please, anybody else loves it when she speaks French?} so I am thinking about mastering the art of French Cuisine; I've even added it to my bucket list. I feel like buying my first french cookbook and after seeing Julie and Julia, I am certain it has to be Julia's book. I don't have what I could call a kitchen since I currently live in a 9m² room but I am planning on moving by the summer and hopefully getting a much bigger place with hopefully a small kitchen but an actual kitchen nonetheless. I will then start what will surely become my epic journey to learn how to cook like Julia Child. I don't want to be like Julie Powell; she had a deep profound love for Julia; I honestly don't. Plus she set it to be her goal to cook all of her recipes in a year; not my style, sorry Julie! I just feeling like learning how to cook french cuisine since I have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to live in this country and learn from the best, a.k.a french people. Is anybody listening? Am I just rambling on for myself?

If you are out there, have an amazing tuesday!! Tuesdays are easier to deal with than Mondays.

Song of the day: You can't always get you want-Rolling Stones.
Feeling: Exhausted. Been up since last night; the bed is calling me.
Loving: my nails; I made it my 2010 Resolution to stop biting my nails and now I have nails. Granted it took way too long to grow, but I feel so proud.

Carrie Bradshaw speaking French enjoy the beauty of it all.

Dear me.

Dear future me,

Please do not grow to be someone else other than the person I know is deep inside you.

Please do not lose your words; your words are your lifeline. Without words, you're unable to fully express yourself.

Please love with all your might, no matter how many times you've been hurt.

Please do not sell your soul for money; remember that money cannot buy happiness.

Please keep only your true friends around; you do not need the added drama.

Please trust in yourself.

Please remember to always be thankful for all the blessings in your life.

Please keep that fire burning inside you.

Please do not ever give up on life.

Please teach your children wrong from right.

Please remember to tell everyone you love that you love them.

Please keep hoping.

Please keep learning from your mistakes.

Please learn to accept yourself.

Please remember to live life to the fullest.

Sincerely yours, the present you

Lies are forever.

" Gradually I came to realize that people will more readily swallow lies than truth, as if the taste of lies was homey, appetizing: a habit."- Martha Gellhorn

Do you remember our first-ever phone conversation? You asked me if I loved action movies and I replied " Yes"; you asked me if I was willing to sit through a football game with you, and I said " Sure; for you I'd love to."

Do you remember our back-and-forth emails? The smiley faces, the little love notes, the inside jokes?

Do you remember asking me that if you cheated on me with another girl, what would be my reaction and I shrugged "Well, everyone makes mistakes right? As long as you'd regret it"; do you remember when I told you " It's okay; it's not like I asked you to marry me"when you asked me if I was really okay with just being friends instead of lovers?

Do you remember the time we seldomly swore to each other that our love would never die and that we would fight for each other with every beat of our hearts.

I remember telling you that "No, I can't live without you; you're the light of my life"when you asked me if I would be fine if you went up and left one day.

A few months later, you asked me how was I holding up without you around and I replied"Although I'm really missing you, I'm doing great! " with that cheerful voice you used to love.

I remember reading your very last lines; in bold you wrote " I wish things were different; now I cannot do this anymore" and my last reply was "I'll never forget you".

Well, I lied; never thought I could but then again I did and I am good at it.
