Fill in the blank Fridays

So I know it's not really Friday for me and I was hoping to do this yesterday but a stomach flu got in my way. So here's my Fill in the Blanks Fridays on a Saturday; how gangster am I ?
If you don't know what Fill in the Blanks Fridays, it is this ingenious idea that Lauren came up with, and this week, it's about books, my favorite subject.

1. My favorite book growing up was the Animorph Series. I was not only obsessed with the books but I religiously watched the series as well.

2. The funniest book I've ever read was "A year in the Merde" by Stephen Clarke. He had me laughing with his views on the french people.

3. The one book that has truly changed my life is "A million little pieces" by James Fray; it is so brutally honest about drugs and rehab and the dark thoughts that go through one's mind.

4. If you're looking for a real "tear jerker" you should probably read "A walk to remember" by Nicholas Sparks; now I know there is the movie so why read when there is a movie about it, but this is the first book that I've ever read by Nicholas Sparks and I found myself in tears, longing for a love like that.

5. If I could meet any author living or dead I would want to meet definitely Jane Austen. I bought the collector editions of all of her novels about a few years ago, and just fell in love with every single of them, although I do have a huge preference for "Pride and Prejudice". It is one of my favorite love stories EVER!

6. The next book on my "to read" list is "Eat, Pray, Love: One woman's search for everything across Italy, India and Indonesia" by Elizabeth Gilbert. I have heard about this book a few years ago but I never got around to it; since the movie is coming out soon, I'd like to read the book first.

7. If I was snowed into remote cabin in the woods and could only choose three books to bring with me I'd bring Better start calling me a Twi-hard but I would definitely bring the "Twilight" series; it is easy read for me and I have been known to shed a few tears here and there while reading the series. I remember buying the series and going through them in 4 days. Sorry Lauren I broke your rule :D.

  1. Oh my gosh I loved the Animorph books too when I was a kid! I'd completely forgotten about them until you wrote that! I used to so desperately long to be one.
And Pride and Prejudice is also one my my favourite books of all time. Jane Austen was a literary genius, I love her. :-)
